  Milano, 8 febbraio 2005 - Arinc Incorporated and Telenor ha finalizzato uno degli elementi più importanti della soluzione per connettività mobile Gsm da utilizzarsi per i telefoni cellulari sui voli aerei commerciali. Arinc Incorporated and Telenor finalized a major element of their Gsm Mobile Connectivity solution for the use of cell phones on commercial airlines. The companies announced a technology contract with Altobridge Ltd. Of Kerry Technology Park, Ireland, a leading developer of advanced mobile systems for the aviation industry. "The proven Altobridge platform will be the link between our Inmarsat satellite access and onboard Gsm mobile users," stated Berit Svendsen, Telenor Chief Technical Officer. "As a recognized market leader, Altobridge's commitment not only brings proven technology to the Arinc/telenor mobile solution, but enhances its market appeal." "Addition of the proven Altobridge platform means our rollout of the Arinc/telenor Mobile Connectivity solution is on schedule for launch as planned," stated Graham Lake, Arinc Vice President, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. "The completion of this agreement further illustrates that Arinc and Telenor have a truly tangible cell phone solution, and should clearly be the preferred partner for any airlines considering mobile inflight connectivity for passengers."
